  • Greenpeace Romania activists protested in the dried-up lake of Comana Natural Park to raise awareness about the escalating climate crisis. They displayed powerful messages such as "The Coolest Summer We Have Left," "The Future Runs Dry," "Stop Fossil Fuels, Protect Water," and "WHO PAYS."

Comana Natural Park, known for its rich biodiversity, is now suffering from severe drought. Over 650 localities in Romania face water restrictions, with rivers and lakes drying up at an alarming rate.

Romania must take urgent action to reduce fossil fuel dependence, stop new fossil fuels investments and protect our water resources for future generations.

    As governments and communities around the world face growing costs from devastating climate impacts, there’s a looming elephant in the room: The billionaire-polluter class has never had it so good.
