What’s the People’s Museum of Climate Justice

Memory as confrontation. This museum weaves together human suffering, extreme weather, and the relentless pursuit of fossil fuels. Here, community voices demand accountability from those who have long put profit before people and planet. Against a backdrop of record-breaking disasters, the costs of fossil-fueled climate chaos fall hardest on communities least responsible for the crisis. The debate about who is to blame is over. This museum bridges cause and effect and invites you to stand in solidarity with those calling for change.

Why Fight for Climate Justice?

They didn’t cause this. They’re paying for it. Nobody in this museum drilled for oil. Nobody here got rich from coal or gas. But they are the ones who lost the house, the boat, the harvest, the people they loved.

That is the injustice. The companies that heated the planet kept the profits. The bill went to families who did almost nothing to cause it. And it isn’t happening somewhere else, to someone else. The storms are getting stronger. The floods are reaching streets that never used to flood. The next story here could be your family’s. They did nothing to deserve it. Neither will you, when it’s your turn.

Make polluters pay.
