Marco joined Greenpeace USA as its Interim General Counsel in 2025. Together with the legal team, he advises the organization on legal issues including risk management and legal strategies. Marco has over 20 years of experience in litigation against multinational corporations for environmental and human rights abuses, working with communities and defenders around the world, as well as advising NGOs on legal risks and compliance. He holds a J.D. from Yale Law School and, in addition to his work for Greenpeace USA, maintains a role as counsel in major human rights and climate accountability litigation.
