What is Greenpeace? How can you take action against the big polluters? What’s wrong with industrial agriculture? How does the climate crisis affect human rights?
We have a dedicated team of volunteers who are trained to hold talks about Greenpeace and our campaigns. They would love to come and talk to your class, workplace or organisation. We call them Greenpeace Speakers.
Here are some of the topics our Greenpeace Speakers could hold a talk about:
The climate crisis
Extreme weather disasters, such as storms, flooding, wildfires and drought, are becoming more intense and frequent because of the climate crisis. Big oil and gas companies are responsible and have known the consequences of their dirty business for decades. But instead of investing in renewable energies, they have lied, lobbied and greenwashed to continue to extract and sell more oil and gas. Hear how, together, we make these big oil and gas companies STOP drilling and start PAYING for their damages.

Food, Forests & Nature
In Denmark, we have less than 3% protected nature. Half of Denmark is used to produce fodder. Industrial agriculture has polluted our fjords, coastal waters and drinking water. How is Greenpeace working to bring more nature, forests and biodiversity to Denmark? What’s the state of our drinking water? What can you do to help?

Our Greenpeace Speakers are also interested in hearing your requests for other topics. They would, for example, be happy to share some stories about Greenpeace’s history or talk about Greenpeace’s use of civil disobedience.
Our Greenpeace Speakers can adapt their presentations to fit different audiences. Talks can also be held online.

If you are passionate about involving more people in the fight for our planet and feel confident speaking in front of groups, you are very welcome to join our Greenpeace Speakers team. This amazing volunteer team helps to develop the presentation materials, trains together and supports each other.
Greenpeace arranges training for new Greenpeace Speakers twice a year. We do our best to invite everyone who applies, but we cannot guarantee a place.
