Today a majority of eligible Greenpeace USA staff voted to be represented by the Progressive Workers Union and was instantaneously recognized by Greenpeace USA.
Ebony Martin, Chief Operating Officer said:
“This is a momentous occasion, and Greenpeace management shares a commitment to the collective bargaining process. We’re pleased to be working together to put a collective bargaining agreement in place as soon as possible. Despite these trying times, we are proud of our work to fight for a more just, green, and peaceful future, and we appreciate how having a staff union can further our mission. There has never been a more important time to advance our shared movement goal to create the world we so desperately need and deserve.”
