Bumble Bee Tuna Can Source大黃蜂鮪魚罐頭 — Greenpeace research found that a Bumble Bee tuna can purchased from Harris Teeter (a wholly owned subsidiary of Kroger Co.) in Arlington, Virginia on April 12, 2022 was sourced from DA WANG, a Taiwanese-owned fishing vessel that was confirmed to have indicators of forced labor by US Customs and Border Protection.

Today, a group of fishers filed suit in San Diego, California, against Bumble Bee Foods under the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act (TVPRA) alleging that they experienced human trafficking and forced labor as they caught tuna that was sold by Bumble Bee in the U.S.
