Biodiversity
Our goal is to ensure the ability of the earth to nurture life in all its amazing diversity. That means we want to protect biodiversity in all its forms – from the ecosystems at the bottom of the sea, to the fragile balance of our soils. We are in a biodiversity crisis. One million species are now at risk of extinction, and in New Zealand, we have the highest proportion of native species at risk. This is a shocking report card for our planet, and we must work together to restore it.
