Andres Chang is a Senior Research Specialist who supports the Climate and Democracy campaigns.
Before joining Greenpeace in 2022, Andres spent more than four years working at the UN-backed Science Based Targets initiative where he led cross-sector research, developed target-setting methods and guidance, and was the electric utilities specialist. During that time, Andres also became involved with the grassroots activist network Science for the People. A committed artist, as well as a researcher, Andres has contributed to Climate Museum projects and been supported by Caldera Arts and GroundWork Gallery.
Andres has a background in earth system modeling and holds an Sc.B. in Geology-Physics from Brown University.
