Food and nature campaigner at Greenpeace Canada, Marie-Josée Béliveau is passionate about green living alternatives. Ethnogeographer, ecologist, and proud of her roots, she is committed to forging links between environmental issues and Aboriginal issues. She has worked in Latin America and keeps alive her ties of solidarity with the indigenous peoples of this region. In 2018, she crossed the Amazon to document the realities of forest guardians and she lectures on the vision and initiatives of the peoples of the Amazon. She is co-founder of the People's March for Mother Earth,
