Based in the San Francisco office, David has run nationwide Greenpeace campaigns since joining staff in 2009. He began work with the oceans team in 2013 and now produces the annual Carting Away the Oceans report which ranks supermarkets on their seafood sustainability. In addition to driving change in the retailer sector, David focuses on other markets-based approaches to shift the seafood industry to confront global crises like overfishing and biodiversity loss.
As a member of Greenpeace USA's first-ever Diversity & Inclusion Council, David is committed to organizational and culture change that furthers social justice. David received his MA in Psychology from University of North Carolina Wilmington and BS in Psychology from University of Kentucky.
