Meet the new Greenpeace Semester class!

by Mary Sweeters

January 30, 2013

“I want to know that what I am doing now is benefiting my entire generation and those to come.”

“This is the field that I am studying in school and to have the experience of hands-on field training would make me a stronger activist. There is so much more that I can learn and this is the perfect program for that.”

“I believe the most important work I can do is to ensure that people can continue living in harmony with the planet.”

Those are the words of some of the newest participants and emerging environmental leaders in the Greenpeace Semester and it sounds like they’re ready to make the most of the next few months. Hailing from both coasts, will learn the skills and get the experience they need to make a real difference for the planet, now and in their future work.

Welcome Nader, Heather, Amanda, Emily, Francesca, and Devin!

Stay tuned for updates on their adventures this term. You can also follow them on Twitter (@GPSemester)!
