Check out this slideshow of some pretty incredible images from Italy, where Greenpeace activists are holding protests at four different coal-fired power stations. The message is simple: As the G8 leaders meet in L’Aquila Italy, we’re calling on them to take the urgent actions necessary to stop runaway climate change.

“The G8 heads of state must break the deadlock in the climate negotiations and stop blaming developing countries for their own inadequate climate policies,” said Greenpeace USA Executive Director, Phil Radford, on site at the G8 meeting in L’Aquila, Italy.
