Over 10,500 people (and counting) have signed our True Cost of Coal Action

In less than 4 hours, we have had over 10,500 people sign up on our True Cost of Coal Action that will ensure our elected officials in Washington, DC know that dirty coal is costing the American people up to an astounding $500,000,000,000 extra every year.

That’s a half trillion a year that we all pay for things like higher asthma rates in children, cancer and time off work for mothers who have to take care of sick loved ones. This is according to a major study just released by a research group at Harvard.

Thanks to each and every one of you who took the time to sign up to our action that will have us deliver a copy of the Harvard coal study to your Senators along with a list of the people from your state who signed on to our petition.

You can add your name to our True Cost of Coal Action right now by clicking here.

If you already have signed on, thanks again. But we want to get at least 20,000 signatures on this action today, so please email this link to your friends and family. The more names we have the more our elected officials will listen.
