On top of smokestack

As the Greenpeace coal activists awake ontop of the 450-foot smokestack this morning, they’ll be happy to hear about the overwhelming public support they’re getting.

People from all over the country are supporting an end to dirty coal plants in Chicago and speaking up for all the Chicagoans who’ve had to endure the hardships and health problems assocaited with living nearby the dirty Fisk and Crawford coal plants.

Here are some great words of encouragement from people all over the U.S.

– Fight the good fight!

Love you people! You’re the greatest!

love you guys. i live in nyc and really really really want to work for you guys!!!

You guys are in my heart! Wish I was there with you.

Green Peace ROCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

Come on we can do this .. lets all unite for a good cause all the times necessary.

– Thank you for shining a spotlight on this dirt coal stack that has been polluting my neighborhood!

You can help support these communities by sending a message to Edison International CEO Ted Craver today. Let’s quit coal.
