This Valentines Day, kids in North Carolina showed their love for renewable energy. A local coalition of labor, education, and environmental groups–including Greenpeace–has just launched an initiative, called Repower our Schools to get school districts in Charlotte and Durham committed to 100% renewable energy. In preparation for a school board meeting, kids of all ages came together in to make renewable energy valentines for their school board members. Check out these adorable photos and then don’t forget to share the love, because everyone needs a little bit of sunshine in their lives.
