He/she will support Greenpeace Thailand through a strategic shift towards campaigns that deliver measurable impact within the global Greenpeace movement while maintaining strong local relevance.

This role will ensure the effective prioritization of limited resources, encourage integration across teams, and create a collaborative work environment that supports team well-being. By aligning initiatives with the Global Strategic Plan, the Lead will ensure Greenpeace Thailand demonstrates its value as a contributor to international campaigns, while remaining deeply connected to the Thai context.

This role is a fixed-term contract based in the Greenpeace Thailand office.

  • Develop and refine national campaign strategies that operationalize regional and global priorities into impactful, locally resonant campaigns.
  • Incorporate emerging trends, political shifts, and stakeholder interests to maintain strategic relevance and impact.
  • Coordinate campaign planning with other teams by applying existing frameworks that connect research, advocacy, communications, and public engagement.
  • Oversee the execution of multiple national-level campaigns, ensuring efficiency, budget discipline, and alignment with global strategies.
  • Manage, mentor and foster professional development and accountability within the campaign team, ensuring a sustainable and collaborative work culture.
  • Build an agile, inclusive, empathetic team environment that values diverse perspectives and encourages team well-being.
  • Collaborate with other teams to support the development of integrated and creative campaign projects that align with organizational goals.
  • Share insights and strategies with regional and global teams to strengthen collective campaigning efforts.
  • Represent Greenpeace Thailand’s campaign interests in public and stakeholder forums, and, when required, act as a spokesperson on specific campaign issues when required, helping to raise the visibility and credibility of Greenpeace Thailand’s work.
  • Strengthen partnerships with community organizations, funding foundations, NGOs, and local groups to co-create impactful initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional and global Greenpeace counterparts, sharing learnings and aligning on campaign priorities.
  • Monitor timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements across campaigns, addressing challenges proactively.
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and adapt to emerging challenges.
  • Uphold rigorous standards for strategic clarity, factual accuracy, and brand integrity in all campaign communications and materials.
  • Invest in the continuous improvement of campaign staff capabilities through coaching, knowledge sharing, and recommended training aligned with campaign objectives and organizational priorities.
  • Evaluate campaign outcomes, extracting insights and best practices to inform iterative improvements and future planning.
  • Contribute to campaign budget planning by recommending how resources can be fairly allocated across teams, ensuring core functions are supported in delivering campaign objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in environmental advocacy, social justice, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including leadership or project management roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to align local campaigns with broader regional and global strategies.
  • Understanding of Thailand’s social, political, and cultural landscape, with expertise in climate and fossil gas issues.
